Jean DarlingAfter Hearst vilified Roscoe in his papers, they met in 1925/26 when Hearst was looking for a director for his film starring Davies (his concubine in "The Red Mill." When Arbuckle met with Hearst, he asked Hearst why he destroyed him. Uncertain if Hearst apologized, but Arbuckle got the job and it became his best film as director William B. Goodrich.
